I’m Rachel, a television and commercial director based in Los Angeles. Before I found myself behind the camera, I spent years working as an Assistant Director on all kinds of projects — from The Fabelmans to The Bachelor — soaking up everything I could about storytelling and running a set. Eventually, I realized I had stories of my own to tell, so I made a dark comedy short called Murder She Wanted that did pretty well on the festival circuit (turns out people enjoy a little murder with their laughs).

I’m a firm believer that a happy set makes for the best work, and I always aim to create an environment where collaboration thrives and people feel supported. Whether it’s wrangling a big crew or crafting intimate moments between characters, I love diving into the heart of a story & finding the little details that make it sing.

Outside of directing, you can usually find me hiking, hanging with my family, or convincing myself I need to visit one more country this year. I’ve fallen head over heels for filmmaking, and I can’t wait to keep bringing stories to life.
